I'm on the 'Shared' album!
Three of my songs appear on a wonderful compilation album called 'Shared' put together by Miles Hunt & Erica Nockalls and featuring Wayne Hussey, Dirty Ray, Timothy Parkes, Matthew Derrick as well as Miles, Erica and myself.Shared - a bit of background
'Shared' is a project conceived by Miles Hunt, of The Wonder Stuff, to showcase and introduce some of the outstanding musical talent available in the UK which may not get picked up by the standard media outlets. The inaugural 'Shared' event took place Birmingham's newly refurbished Town Hall in January 2009 and featured Nick Heyward, Wayne Hussey, Roddy Frame and Katell Keineg alongside Miles Hunt and Erica Nockalls. Since then, in addition to approaching established artists of an acoustic nature for further 'Shared' live events in the future, Miles has been working with a number of lesser known UK artists for a compilation album released in association with Independent Records Ltd.

A word from Miles Hunt
Talking recently about this latest 'Shared' project Miles says, "Once again I am genuinely surprised at the goodwill and enthusiasm shown toward the 'Shared' project. The first people that I approached to record for the album gave me an immediate 'yes', in much the same way as Wayne, Roddy, Katell & Nick did for the show in Birmingham. It was always my intention to open up the appeal of 'Shared' with newer artists and given the amount of touring that Erica and I have done in the last couple of years, we have seen so many great players and performers that there are plenty to chose from.'Record Collector Magazine 4-star review
